Fencing and Painting Questions

How long does a wood fence last?

Service life depends on lumber, drainage, soil contact, irrigation, sun exposure and maintenance. Strong posts, proper clearances and timely repairs can extend the useful life. We inspect the existing fence and explain whether repair or replacement is the better choice.

What preparation is needed before exterior painting?

Typical preparation includes cleaning, scraping loose paint, repairing cracks, addressing failed caulk, masking and protecting landscaping. The exact work depends on whether the surface is stucco, siding, trim, metal or wood.

How long does a project take?

Most residential fencing and painting projects are completed in 3–5 days. Larger, commercial or repair-heavy projects can take longer; your written quote includes the expected schedule.

Do you require a deposit?

No deposit is required on projects with a total contract price of $10,000 or less.
